Contributors
In addition to the required budget share from each participating community, SVR has received invaluable financial and in-kind support from the following individuals and organizations. We are grateful to our contributors for their interest and commitment to providing sustainable wheelchair-accessible non-emergency transportation services in the Souhegan Valley.
“The Blue Bus” is more than a just a ride service. It is a way for residents, especially senior citizens and neighbors living with a disability, to be as independent as possible, to accomplish their daily activities, and to remain engaged in their communities.

*This donation allowed the Amherst community to remain an active member of SVTC and allowed Amherst residents continued access to the bus service through April 2011
Thanks to assistance from the staff of the Nashua Regional Planning Commission and support from the Regional Coordinating Council for Community Transportation (#7), Souhegan Valley Rides has been able to leverage federal funding from the Federal Transit Administration andNH DOT since 2011. These funds allow the service to operate 5 days per week, to provide fully accessible rides, and to explore additional ways to improve the service and assist area residents.
